Team Clarity

Privacy Policy

Effective date: January 1, 2026

Team Clarity is a product of TClarity LLC, a Delaware limited liability company based in the United States. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it. We tried to write it in plain language so you can actually read it.

The short version

We collect the information you give us when you sign up or contact us, plus some basic technical data that keeps the app running. We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers. Employees of Team Clarity may look at your data to fix bugs or follow up on feedback you send us. That is it.

What we collect

When you sign up or use Team Clarity, we collect:

  • Your name, email address, and password
  • Your organization name and team size
  • Payment details if you choose a paid plan (processed by Stripe, not stored by us)
  • Anything you type into the contact form
  • Whatever data you enter into the app itself about your team and processes

We also automatically collect:

  • IP address and basic request logs
  • Session information so you stay logged in
  • Error reports when something breaks, which may include details about what you were doing at the time

How we use it

  • To run the service and keep your account working
  • To process payments through Stripe
  • To send you account emails, like verification and receipts
  • To respond when you contact us
  • To fix bugs and improve the product

We do not sell your data. We do not rent it. We do not send you marketing from other companies. If that ever changes, we will update this policy and tell you first.

Who sees your data

Employees of TClarity LLC may review your data, but only when we need to fix a bug, investigate a problem, or respond to feedback you sent us. We treat your data as confidential.

We also share data with a small number of vendors who help us run the service:

  • Vercel hosts our marketing website
  • Microsoft Azure hosts the app and the database
  • Stripe processes payments and stores payment details
  • SendGrid delivers account and verification emails

These vendors only receive the data they need to do their job. They are not allowed to use your data for their own purposes.

We may disclose data if we are legally required to, for example in response to a valid subpoena or court order.

Cookies and tracking

We use cookies that are necessary to keep you signed in and to remember your preferences. We do not currently run advertising or marketing trackers. If we add advertising tools like Google Ads in the future, we will update this policy and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent first.

How long we keep your data

If you delete your account or cancel your subscription, we will delete your personal data within 90 days. Some information may be kept longer if we need it for legal, accounting, or fraud prevention reasons, such as payment records required by law.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you a copy of the personal data we hold about you, correct it if it is wrong, or delete it. If you live in a place like the European Union, California, or another region with privacy laws, you also have whatever rights those laws give you, including the right to object to certain uses of your data and to file a complaint with your local regulator.

To make a request, email us at support@teamclarity.io. We will respond within a reasonable time.

Where your data lives

Team Clarity is based in the United States, and our vendors store data in the United States. If you use Team Clarity from outside the United States, your data will be transferred to and processed in the United States, which may have different privacy laws than your home country.

Security

We protect your data with reasonable technical and organizational measures, including encrypted connections, access controls, and secure password storage. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise absolute security, but we take it seriously.

Children

Team Clarity is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make meaningful changes, we will let you know by email or by posting a notice in the app. The effective date at the top of this page tells you when the current version took effect.
